Valerie Schulz, MD, FACOG


Valerie Schulz, MD, FACOG, is a board certified OB/GYN practicing in Long Island, NY. She earned her medical degree from SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse, and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from SUNY Stony Brook.


An expert in several areas of women’s health, including contraception, anxiety and depression, and adolescent gynecology, Dr. Schulz has led a number of lecture series and presentations. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology, as well as a member of the American Society for Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology and the American Medical Society.


Dr. Schulz has participated in numerous programs to help educate women about their birth control options, in particular the birth control pill. She recently served as a spokesperson for the Back-to-School with Control and Confidence with television star Holly Marie Combs, Pill Lo Talk with relationship expert Lauren Howard and The LO-Down on Wearing White with fashion expert Bobbie Thomas, two educational programs sponsored by Ortho Women’s Health & Urology™, Division of Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc., maker of ORTHO TRI-CYCLEN LO.
